A Fishy Smell

Final day in Destin, FL. A laid back day at the beach. The waves are mesmerizing. They just keep coming and coming. The sky was so blue. I read and walked and found shells for my grandkids.

Then out to dinner at Harbor Docks. Freshly caught grouper cheeks and shrimp. It’s a wholesale fishing operation with a small, cabin attached which is the restaurant. The way the wind was blowing, I chose to eat inside as the fish smell at the tables on the dock was a bit strong. The large windows offered a nice view of the water though.

Who can tell me why my pictures come out sideways?  Saved on my computer they are correct - right side up.  Frustrating.  Yet I can say that it’s been such a peaceful time.

Tonight’s Bible verse is from The Message found in Psalm 62:

“My help and glory are in God

   —granite-strength and safe-harbor-God—

So trust him absolutely, people;

   lay your lives on the line for him.

   God is a safe place to be.”
