Jason please fix
So very much happening today. We began the day with devotions, breakfast and a visit to the global village on site. Learned much about the lives of people in each area. The Kenyan refugee village impressed me the most. Our lunch was Kenyan with peanut soup, some type of greens, something with corn and black beans and a thin bread similar to naan to pick it up with.
We took apart metal shelves and sandpapered them to prepare them for painting and now we will all meet in the garden to harvest rice, cassava, maize and sweet potatoes.
Glad I brought Advil along. Think my arms will need it from all the de-rusting and my legs for all the walking. It is all wonderful though.
When my grand kids get older Iād like to bring them to live in the village for the 3 day program so they can experience the depth of life in these areas of the world.
