The Power of Three
What refreshing weather today! The sun was shining and the temperature was of the kind that rejuvenates me! I had to walk over to take back the Redbox movie “1917.” On my way I spotted the hand washing station pictured here. These are usually out only during festival times. Although this isn’t a festival, but a pandemic, it did my heart good to see them around. It gave me hope that our city does care about all people–even those one the street!
I believe in the power of three. Whenever I hear something, or see something three times, I’ve always felt the need to write about it in Notes Of Hope. Here’s today’s three:
1. I saw this hand washing station;
2. I saw a commercial with the catchy title “Wash Your Hands: You Have Skin In The Game;”
3. I saw in reading the book of Job, this time from the Message version of the Bible:
“Still, if you set your heart on God and reach out to him, If you scrub your hands of sin and refuse to entertain evil in your home, You’ll be able to face the world unashamed and keep a firm grip on life, guiltless and fearless…your world will be washed in sunshine, every shadow dispersed by day spring. Full of hope, you’ll relax, confident again; you’ll look around, sit back, and take it easy.”
So there you go, my power of three for Notes of Hope along with my Walk of Hope. What a day! This gives me hope!
