Grave Matters

On a recent trip with the Indiana Historical Society called “Grave Matters,” touring cemeteries in Southern Indiana, Jeannie, a grave expert accompanied us.  She is pictured below in the first picture.  She talked about how headstones have changed over the years from being religious in nature, then being more focused on nature, and how now these grave markers are showing the rise of pop culture.

Memory Making Moments

It was surprising how emotional the act of selling my dining room table became as I sat on the chairs waiting for the buyers to arrive.  The set was bought in 2000 when we moved into the house on Cranberry Drive in Greenfield. It was my dream home and dream dining room table.  A place to gather, to talk, to laugh, and to eat.  Meals are about so much more than food.
